The Zambezi Queen cruises the Chobe River throughout the year on scheduled weekly departures. Guests can enjoy two-night sailings during January, February, and December, or three-night sailings, available every Friday, year-round.
During the high season, only three-night departures are available.

Road transfers to and from Kasane International Airport and Kasane Immigration Office, located on the Botswana side of the Chobe River**

* Subject to availability of fishing boats
** When arriving at the Kasane and Namibian Immigration Offices, guests must complete the required immigration forms to gain access and departure permission from the relevant authorities. This process can take between 45 and 60 minutes to complete and should be factored into timing and pre-planning.
- Conservation and community development levy: The funds collected will supplement our community projects and conservation initiatives run by the Zambezi Queen Collection to assist with education, health care and basic community service. Rate for 2026 is ZAR 250 per person per night, and 2027 rate is R270 per person per night.

Premium alcoholic beverages (e.g. sparkling wine, spirits, dessert wines), curio store purchases, and discretionary gratuities
- From 1 March 2027 – The photographic boat for exclusive use, accompanied by a non-professional guide for a water-based photographic safari, carries a fee of ZAR 2,000 per night, subject to a minimum two-night stay and availability at the time of booking
- A 30% single supplement applies to cabins occupied by one adult (limited availability per stay)

Zambezi Queen: 3 singles per sailing
Please note that single occupancy rates are subject to limited availability per trip. Below are the minimum charges applicable for enquiries requesting single occupancy of the entire Zambezi Queen, or when guests do not utilise all rooms.
Zambezi Queen minimum charge for exclusive use:
11 suites on double occupancy + 3 suites on single occupancy (for up to 25 guests)
Children aged 13 years and older are welcome on the Zambezi Queen and will be charged the applicable adult rate
Booking & Payment policy:
- Provisional reservations will be held for a maximum of 14 days; thereafter, they will be automatically released
- Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with the reservations team within 7 days of issue
- Credit card payments are not accepted for tax invoices issued to tour operators or travel agents. All bank charges are for the account of the tour operator or travel agent
Deposit payments:
FIT (1–7 pax):
- 30% deposit due within 7 days of invoice date
- 70% balance due 60 days prior to arrival
Group (8–20 pax):
- 10% deposit due within 7 days of invoice date
- 40% deposit due 180 days prior to arrival
- 50% balance due 60 days prior to arrival
