* Subject to availability of fishing boats. Please note fishing excursions are limited to 1 tank of fuel per boat per day

*** When arriving at the Kasane and Namibian Immigration Offices guests need to fill in the required immigration forms to gain access and departure permission from the relevant authorities. This process can take between 45 to 60 minutes to complete and needs to be considered in terms of timing and pre-planning.

• Community development levy: The funds collected will supplement our community projects and initiatives run by the Zambezi Queen Collection to assist with education, health care and basic community services
  •  Rates for 2023/2024 are ZAR 120 per person per night
  •  Rates for 2024/2025 are ZAR 130 per person per night
• Fuel levy: To assist with the recovery of tourism in 2023, the Zambezi Queen Collection have absorbed the additional fuel costs as much as possible, however this is not a sustainable model as our houseboats and tender boats make regular use of fuel for daily sailings and experiences. Once the petrol price stabilises, we are committed to dropping this surcharge.
  • Rate for 2023 is ZAR 250 per person per night
• Air tickets and visa fees
• Premium alcoholic beverages (such as sparkling wine, spirits & dessert wine), curio store purchases and gratuities (discretionary)

• Children aged 13 years and older are welcome on the Zambezi Queen and are charged the applicable adult rate

PAYMENT TERMS
• Provisional reservations will be held for a maximum of 14 days, thereafter it will be automatically released
• Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with reservations within 7 days of issue
• The full balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival
• Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require full prepayment at time of booking
• Subject to a 30% supplement for cabins occupied by one adult (limited availability per trip)

FIT (1 – 7 PAX)
• 30% deposit is due within 7 days of invoice date

Group (8 – 26 PAX)
• 10% deposit payment is due within 7 days of invoice date
• A further 40% deposit is due 180 days prior to arrival

Tour Series (minimum of 8 PAX for 3 + trips per year)
• 10% deposit is due 240 days prior to arrival
• A further 40% deposit is due 180 days prior to arrival

CANCELLATION POLICY
• Only written cancellations will be accepted. An acknowledgement of the cancellation will be sent from the reservations department
• Zambezi Queen reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date

FIT (1 – 7 PAX)
• 30% of fee if cancellation is less than 120 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival

Group (8 – 26 PAX)
• 10% of fee if cancellation is less than 240 days prior to arrival
• 50% of fee if cancellation is less than 180 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival

Tour Series (minimum of 8 PAX for 3 + trips per year)
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 240 days prior to arrival
